Here is the next card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' The theme this week is for a single layer, or very simple card. I decided to give the card a bit of colour with a distress ink before stamping, but I'm afraid it's made it look a bit messy and smudged? I'll be interested in any comments you have!!

It's lovely, Paddy - not messy, but distressed. That Santa image is one of my favourite Christmas stamps - thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 33 - look forward to seeing what you come up with next x
Paddy i agree with Hazel that it doesn't look messy but if you feel that what about inking the edges of the card to frame it iyswim?
:)
very nice paddy :)
Hi Paddy! I'm with the consensus opinion - this doesn't look smudged or messy to me, it looks like it is distressed intentionally. Which works wonderfully to set off your Santa stamp. I like it very much!
