Here is this week's card for 'http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.com' The theme for this was 'bling', so I used a topper, some foam snowflakes and a sentiment on a vellum background and then got out my silver stickles!!!! I was quite pleased with this one!!

After a long time, I am delighted that I've finally managed to log on to my blog again!!! Can't believe that Christmas and New Year have been and gone. It was a good one here, although I had a tooth abcyss (spelling????!)and was on anti-biotics!!
I don't have much news at the moment, but have uploaded a card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmas challenge.blogspot.com' The theme this week is to use something 'free'. This card was made from the free papers in Making Cards! All I need to do now is to link it to her blog!! Wish me luck!!!

As I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a week, I thought I'd do an entry on here before I go. I've done the October pages for the Bubbly Funk 2010 365 Calendar Challenge. I think they might need 'something else' but they are ready for when I get back!!!

We're also about ready to start a circle journal on Bubbly Funk so I thought I'd show you mine before I post it in the morning! My theme is 'Happiness Is'. The cover didn't photograph very well, but it gives you the idea. I've left it relatively plain as I didn't think the paper needed very much extra!! The other two pics are my double lay out! Looking forward to getting the next one!

Fingers crossed for a some 'reasonable' weather for the next week - at least in Dorset!!! See you soon!!

This is the first round robin that I've done for ages with Friends Who Count. I've had it back for at least a year, so this morning I decided it needed to be mounted and framed, and here it is!!! I'm mulling over the thought of doing another one, so watch this space !!!

Apart from this, I'm just about to start a CJ with Bubbly Funk. My theme will be 'Happiness Is'

and it's nearly ready for posting - at the end of September!. I'll take some pics when I've done the last few bits. I'm also about to start a 'dressing a calico doll' round robin/CJ with UKS. Never done anything like this before, so am a bit apprehensive! First posting for that is also the end of September and it starts out 'naked' so nothing to do as yet!!! In between times, to stop me getting bored, there's the Twinchies and inchies on BF and inchies on UKS! Bye for now. xx

I'm sure I must have more than these two cards to show you, but can't think what at the moment!!! These are the two for the 25 club on Bubbly Funk. The theme this month was to find inspiration from a picture, which was the bottom of a staircase, heaped with Christmas baubles! I'm not 100% pleased with the second one - my first freehand iris folding in a long time! The gold section is a lot brighter than it appears tobe!

Must go and find something to occupy me now, to take my mind off my driving test which is on Tuesday!!! Hope you will all keep your fingers crossed for me!!!! Bye for now.

As usual, it's been a lot longer than I intended since I last blogged!! It has been a stressful time though as I lost my mum on the 22nd June. It was expected, but still hard to come to terms with. We were up there at the time, and luckily made it for the last time that she 'awake' and knew that we were there. The following week we were back again for the funeral, which really did go as well as it could have. I find comfort in the thought that she is now with my dad.
Since then, I have finished some Christmas cross stitching that has been on the go for ages - I have done other things in the mean-time!! These are 6 little padded squares ready to hang up!

I've also done my cards for this month's 25th club on Bubbly Funk. The theme for these was 'angels'. I haven't any angel bits, but managed to find a couple of images to colour in!!

I've also got well ahead of myself and have done the pages for August and September for the 365 calendar challenge, again on bubbly Funk. Sorry that I haven't turned them round!!!!
