I didn't think I'd do a card this week for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'. We were in Shropshire last weekend for the Bubbly Funk retreat which was fab-u-lous!!!! Got home at tea time Monday with an incredible amount of sorting out to do! Anyway, I couldn't resist a peek to see what the theme was and decided to do a quickie! The theme was 'distressing' in any form, so I tore some paper for the background and added an extra deer and a sentiment. Bye for now!!

Another busy week here, with the Bubbly Funk retreat this weekend - I can't wait, they're so much fun!! In between packing my craft trolley I decided to do a quick card for Hazel's 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'!! The theme this week was 'photo inspiration'. The photo was of some Christmas stockings full of teddies and other toys, and we could use what we wanted, including the colour scheme from it! I stuck to the 'stocking' part of it and found some stocking paper, a stamp and finished it off with a couple of stocking peel-offs! Back to the packing now!!!

I didn't think I was going to be able to do a card this week for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' as we were going away for the weekend, but as it was cancelled, I did a very quick one today!!!! The theme was using die cuts, so I used three Christmas Tree dies. It would have been disappointing to have missed a week, so all is well!! Bye for now.

Today I've been doing two swaps that I'm in! The first is a circle journal swap on Bubbly Funk and the theme was 'Public Art' in your local area so off I went to Ealing!!


The second swap is a Calico Dolly swap on UKS which has caused a bit of head scratching at times. This is the second to last bit and was 'Accessories' so I made a top hat and some wings, as seen in the photo!

The next (and last) doll I get will need 'beads and embellishments' so I'm on a bit more familiar ground there!! Now to get them wrapped up and ready to post. I'm keeping my fingers very tightly crossed because I think mine plus a couple more, are holed up somewhere, so watch this space!!!

This week's challenge on 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was to use a Christmas song or carol. I used a stamp with 'have yourself a merry little christmas ' and three trees on, and made the following card!

Here's this week's card for Hazels Christmas challenge! The theme is to use circles, so I managed two!!! I glued the circles on to the vellum background and it's looking a bit 'crinkly' so I hope it dries flatter!! Maybe I should have used glue dots?? I then stickled round the outside of the circles, on the snow and in the corners, but it doesn't show up very well in the photo!!

Another week for the Craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge!! This week's theme was Christmas foliage and/or flowers. Once again I used papers and toppers from my favourite 'Making Cards'!! I'm getting quite a collection of Christmas cards now!
