This coming year I intend to try harder to keep up to date with 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.  It makes life so much easier at the end of the year when you don't have to rush around making cards!!!  This year I wasn't so organised, so had to make a few rush cards at the last minute which I didn't upload.  This is one of them so it is ideal for this week's challenge with theme ' starting all over again'!!  Hope you have all had a good Christmas, and many wishes for a Very happy New Year to you all! xx

 

 

 

First time for a while that I've made a card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge', but while I was looking for something else, I came across this decoupage sheet with an angel playing a 'musical instrument' which fits perfectly with this week's theme of 'music'!!!  So here it is!  Not too many weeks left now, so I must start counting cards to see how many more I need!!  I might be back next week!!!

It's been a few weeks again, but this week I've managed to make a card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.  The theme was 'layer it up'  so I've got a few layers there!!  It's quite scary how few weeks there are now until Christmas, so I must make more of an effort to make cards!!!  Hope to be back next week!

Two weeks on the trot - hope I can keep this up!!  This week's theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' is 'spread a little joy and love' which I wasn't too sure about, but considered that the various wording on this card would be appropriate, plus the jolly snowman himself!  Hope that's ok Hazel??  Let's see if I can go for three next week?!!!!  Bye for now.

Haven't  blogged for ages due to one thing or another!!!  Still having internet problems on the pc, so am having to use the laptop, which I'm not thrilled about!  Decided that I really must get back into making Christmas cards, so I've made this one for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.  This week's theme was 'snowmen or snowomen' and was put together quite quickly, before I changed my mind!  Here's hoping for next week!!!

I've  been without a computer all this week but have managed to get internet on my laptop, only by kneeling on the floor (long story),  so this will be brief!!  This is my card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' and the theme this week is 'Christmas foliage', hence the holly!!!   Hopefully I'll be back on the pc next week !!!                                                                                                      

Got myself sorted early this week with this card!!  It's for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' and the theme is to use your favourite embellishments.  Mine are ribbon and gem stones!!!  No more news so see you next week - hopefully!!!

 

 

 

Having spent quite a long time today framing some lace - a well overdue job - I thought I would blog it!  I usually just post it on Bubbly Funk but have realised that it then gets lost in time!!!!!  This way the girls can still see it, but I can always find it again. The first is a modern day 'picture' and the second is examples of 17th century lace that our lace tutor 'copied' from paintings for us to do as a class.  Hope you like them.

 

 

 

Two weeks on the trot!!  Hopefully I can get back to doing them weekly?  This week's theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was to 'show some white', so this fits the bill.  I enjoyed making this one, so fingers crossed for next week!!

 

 

 

I am beginning to get a bit worried by my lack of Christmas cards this year, compared with the last couple of years, so this morning I very hurriedly threw this one together!!!  It's for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' and the theme is 'festive food and/or drink'.  I thought this Christmas pudding fitted the bill quite nicely, though I'm not very impressed with the card.  Now that things seem to have settled down a bit, hopefully next week I can do better!!!  Watch this space!!!

 

 

 

 

It's been ages since I last posted or made a card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' but today decided that I had to get back to doing them.  It makes such a lot of difference later in the year!  It's not been a very good start to this year on a personal level, so here's to it improving as time goes on.  Hopefully I'll see you next week!!!

I'm so excited because I can now upload photos on to my blog again!!  It's not been letting me for quite a while!!  I've made two cards this week for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.   The theme is something 'recycled or free' and I'm hoping these fall into the 'free' part as the origami type papers were given to me by my mum years ago after she decided she was never going to use them!!!  I must admit I enjoyed all the folding and putting together!!  Hope to see you soon!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy New Year to everybody!!   My first blog of theyear!!  This is again for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'  and her new 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallengeextra' which is for any cards made per month with no themes!!  Even the original challenge has a 'anything goes' theme for this month!!  I started off last year very well, but lost track towards the end, but I'd still managed to make most of my Christmas cards without having to rush at the end.  Lets see how this year goes!!!
