Two weeks running - doing well!!!  This week's theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'  was to make a card for a special person so here is one.  Hope my sister doesn't check out my blog!!!!  The papers used were from my usual favourite, Making Cards!  Hope you like it.

 

 

 

I can't believe how long it's been since I last made a card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' and blogged!!  It's been a very busy few months with holidays and house sitting and various things!  I got a bit behind on several  swaps I am in, mainly cross stitch ones, so have been busy catching up with them.  I'm just about there now, finishing a circle journal this morning!   I even managed a bit of cleaning!!!!!  The theme for this week's card is to use stock that is over 6 months old.  These papers are from last Christmas' Making Cards and it is the first time I've used any of it!!!  Hopefully I'll be back next week, but it is nice to be here again!!

 

 

 

Hello again.   I didn't make a card last week for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'  and probably won't next week as we are away for most of it, so  thought I should get one made now before we leave on Thursday!!  The theme is to include a building, so I decoupaged this house and made it into this card.  Hope you like it!!

This week's theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschalllenge' was to use your favourite colour so I chose purple!!!  I enjoyed it so much I made two, and here thay are!!  Hope you like them!

      

Here is this week's card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.  The theme was 'tie a ribbon' though we could use ribbon in any way.  I thought red ribbon went very well with this pretty robin, so here is my card!!!

The theme for this week's 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was 'monochrome'.  It had me thinking for a while until I found these papers and a topper with just a bit of red in it!!!  Sorted!!!

As I missed the last two weeks of 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge', I was determined to do one for this week!!   The theme is 'twinkle twinkle little star' and was to include at least one star!  I thought this paper would be perfect, and even found a topper that included stars!   Hope to be back next week!

Another week, another challenge!!  This week's theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was 'Let's get inky'  This topper was one that we did in a swap on Bubbly Funk some time ago.   I knew it would come in handy!!  Thank you Hazel for coming up with all these great themes and encouraging us to build up our supply of Christmas cards!!  See you next week!

Hello again.  Here is another card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.  The theme  is 'things with wings' so what could be more appropriate than a robin!!!   Thanks again to Making Cards!  Last week my card was picked randomly as the winner and I am awaiting $21 of digital stamps.  This was my first time, and I was very excited!!  Maybe I'll be able to use one of them on  a card for Hazel's challenge???   Hope to see you next week!

Another week, another card!!  This week the theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'  was to feature a creature!  I remembered these papers in a back issue of Making Cards, so here it is.  Hope you like it!

Well, our retreat has been and gone!!  As usual, we had an amazing time and are all ready planning next year's.  It took a while to get sorted out after getting home, but I'm back on track this week with a card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'.   The theme for this week was 'purple' - as little or as much as you want, so I did the whole card in it!!!  Sorry that photo is not very good!

I wish they wouldn't keep messing with things!  I'm really finding it hard to find my way round this new blogger set up!  I didn't think I'd have time to do a card this week, with the retreat at the weekend, but when I saw the theme was to use blue, Icouldn't resist using what has to be one of my all time favourite papers from Making Cards.  There's very little left now!!!!!  So here it is, my effort for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'  I am SO looking forward to the weekend and meeting upwith the girls again.  It is so much fun and we spend most of it laughing!!  Hope to see you next week!

Here is this week's card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'. The theme was 'white Christmas' and as I love this snowman topper, the choice was easy!!! Hope you like it!

As I didn't have time to make a card last week, I made sure I'd get one done this week. The theme for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was to 'get sentimental'!! This was paper, and vellum, from an old Making Cards, which I've always loved. It included a bit of decoupage and a sentiment in tag form. Just what I needed!!! Hope to see you next week!

Here is this week's card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' The theme is 'button it up' and I have used three small red butttons. I'm staying at my daughter's this week, looking after my grandson while they are in las Vegas!!! I brought a few bits with me and had a raid of her stash to get this done!!!!

Another week, another card, for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'!! This week the theme was to add some glitter, so I've sparkled a few holly berries and given the robin a sparkly chest!! I finished by adding a few red gems!

Here is this week's card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'. The theme was to include red, so I've managed to add a fair bit! The best bit was using my new Martha Stewart edge punch that I bought at Make It recently!! Unfortunately, it's not the best photo that I've ever taken!!!

The theme this week for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was to use ribbon or a charm. As I have a big bag of Christmas charms that has vanished off the face of the earth, I had to choose ribbon, and settled on a ribbon bow!! The topper is a Lilli of the Valley one that I bought at 'Make It' at the weekend, along with a 'few' others!!!

The theme for this week's 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' was to 'make a scene', so I thought this fitted quite nicely. As usual, made in a hurry as I'm away from lunchtime today till Saturday!! See you next week!!!

Well, another week, and here is the card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'!! This week's theme was to feature a fairy or an angel and this was the only one I possess!!!! The cards are all ready beginning to pile up, so I hope I can keep this up this year!

Here's this week's card for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge'. The theme was to use a die cut, so I used a Christmas topper and added a holly die cut and sentiment. Quite simple really!!

The theme for this week's 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' card was to make a square card!! Nice and easy - thanks Hazel!!! Having said that, this is a very quick and easy card as the week is beginning to get busy!! A few years I bought a 'too good not to buy' kit at one of the shows, so I finally used some of it today! It was a good bargain as it had quite a few straight and scalloped square cards and lots of paper, sentiments, embellies and candi in it! Must use it again!!!

Having made a card last week for 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge', I forgot to blog it, so I'm making sure this week!!! The theme is 'hearts' in any way. I struggled to think of anything to do and ended up by just adding two small hearts, one in the botton left and one in the top right of the card!! I love this set of papers from Making Cards and am making a couple more while I'm in the mood!

It's been a long time since I was here and I'm sure there's been quite a lot I could have blogged!!! Thankfully, Hazel has got me started again with her weekly challenge - 'craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge' - the first one this year!! The theme this week was to use anything recycled from Christmas. I didn't save anything, apart from a few cards that I thought I could cut up!!! This little teddy seemed to fit the bill nicely, so here it is!! See you next week???
