We're also about ready to start a circle journal on Bubbly Funk so I thought I'd show you mine before I post it in the morning! My theme is 'Happiness Is'. The cover didn't photograph very well, but it gives you the idea. I've left it relatively plain as I didn't think the paper needed very much extra!! The other two pics are my double lay out! Looking forward to getting the next one!

This is the first round robin that I've done for ages with Friends Who Count. I've had it back for at least a year, so this morning I decided it needed to be mounted and framed, and here it is!!! I'm mulling over the thought of doing another one, so watch this space !!!
Apart from this, I'm just about to start a CJ with Bubbly Funk. My theme will be 'Happiness Is'

and it's nearly ready for posting - at the end of September!. I'll take some pics when I've done the last few bits. I'm also about to start a 'dressing a calico doll' round robin/CJ with UKS. Never done anything like this before, so am a bit apprehensive! First posting for that is also the end of September and it starts out 'naked' so nothing to do as yet!!! In between times, to stop me getting bored, there's the Twinchies and inchies on BF and inchies on UKS! Bye for now. xx

I'm sure I must have more than these two cards to show you, but can't think what at the moment!!! These are the two for the 25 club on Bubbly Funk. The theme this month was to find inspiration from a picture, which was the bottom of a staircase, heaped with Christmas baubles! I'm not 100% pleased with the second one - my first freehand iris folding in a long time! The gold section is a lot brighter than it appears tobe!

As usual, it's been a lot longer than I intended since I last blogged!! It has been a stressful time though as I lost my mum on the 22nd June. It was expected, but still hard to come to terms with. We were up there at the time, and luckily made it for the last time that she 'awake' and knew that we were there. The following week we were back again for the funeral, which really did go as well as it could have. I find comfort in the thought that she is now with my dad.
Since then, I have finished some Christmas cross stitching that has been on the go for ages - I have done other things in the mean-time!! These are 6 little padded squares ready to hang up!
I've also done my cards for this month's 25th club on Bubbly Funk. The theme for these was 'angels'. I haven't any angel bits, but managed to find a couple of images to colour in!!

Hello again. Today I've finished my 25th club cards for over on Bubbly Funk. So far, I'm up to date!! The theme this month was Christmas 'greenery' so I've gone with the pine cones and holly! I'm sorry that they are a bit 'samey' but the decoupage panels were there waiting to be done, so I did them!!!! Hope to be back soon! Bye.

I'm a little bit late this month for Bubbly Funk's 25th Club, but only one day which isn't bad!! I haven't seen anybody else's effort, so I still may be first!! The theme for this month was set by Gez and was to use red and green, and if possible use hand made paper or inchies. I had some serendipidy squares that I did ages ago, in the right colours, so I chopped it up into inchies and background paper!!! Hope you like!!

Well, I can't believe that it's been a week now since we were at the Bubbly Funk retreat. This was our second one, and just like the first we had the most brilliant time!! Lots of food and drink, SOME crafting, not too much sleep, but loads and loads of laughs!!! While there, I was overwhelmed by the work that Kaz does and after a bit of thought I decided to have a go at the following, so this is for you Kaz!! xx Unfortunately I didn't have the courage to really go for it, so it was done on a scrap of paper in pencil!!!! I am quite pleased with it, so will have to have another go now!! Hope you like it!

This has got to be a record - twice in one day!!! Having finished the cover for the 2010 365 calendar challenge, I thought I might as well come back and blog it!!! So here it is!
Today I finished my second card (of 2!!!) for the Bubbly Funk 25th club challenge, so decided to blog them now, rather than forget all about them!!! The theme this time was a sketch!
I've been having a go at wire crochet after crazydaisy (from BF) sent me the pattern! I found it very difficult to work with and almost impossible to get even stitches!! It looks quite effective from a distance I think, but doesn't stand up to too close an inspection!!

Hello everyone!! What glorious weather we're having at the moment! It was the scrapbooking and stamping show at Alexander Palace this weekend which is always nicer on a sunny day. I love driving up the hill to it and being able to see the views right across London!! I went with my daughter on Saturday and, as usual, we had a super day. We got there as it opened and the entrance hall was packed. It took a good 15 minutes in a queue till we actually got in and we thought it would be a nightmare day, but it really didn't seem any worse than usual. Spent too much (again as usual!!) but my daughter won a Doodlebag tote bag with £150 of goodies in, at Capture The Magic stand!!! I have taken a picture of the stash that I bought and am now looking forward to the next show in September!!

Today has been a good day! It was a lovely sunny morning and I had a driving lesson with a new instructor and a new car, which I was a bit worried about, but it went very well and he seemed quite pleased with me!!! Then the best bit - I came home and found my tiddyjiggy waiting for me!! This is the swap we've been doing on UKS. Having already done the 12 x 12, and the 8 x 8, this was the last one and was 6 x 6. It's quite sad that there's no more to do, but I'm thrilled to bits with this one!!
I'm also blogging the finished March pages of the 365 2010 calendar challenge from Bubbly Funk! How can we be a quarter of the way through the year all ready???

Hope everyone remembered to put their clocks forward this morning??!!! I nearly forgot!! I've had quite a good week as I managed to pass my theory driving test! One down, one to go!! No idea when that will be. My driving instructor left this week, so I will be starting with a new one (a man this time!!) this week. It also means a different car. I have been in a Golf but it will now be a Nissan Micra! Fingers crossed!!
Today I'm blogging the two cards I made for Bubbly Funk's 25th club challenge. I should have done it before the 25th - the cards were made long before that, but I kept forgetting to blog (no change there!!) Now to get on with the April ones!
Hope to be back soon, so thanks for looking! Bye for now!

I have JUST finished doing March's pages for the Bubbly Funk 2010 365 calendar challenge!!! Talk about leaving it to the last minute!! I am disappointed with the photos as they don't show the colours of the pages. I used green and blue distress inks and was very pleased with the outcome! (They have also come out in the wrong order)!!!!
Maybe I should start now on April's pages??

I've been getting on with my 'tiddyjiggy' pieces, as I don't want to leave them till the last minute! This is a 6x6" jigsaw swap on UKS that follows on from the previous two - a 12x12" and an 8x8", so we will have the complete set! I am posting the first five today!! The first one is my piece with the theme dragonflies, as I just love them!!!
The next piece is for Craftybarbie and her theme is 'Rainbow'. We were all allocated a different colour to do, amd mine is lilac.
